- 230V / 50Hz single-phase, 400V three-phase; 60Hz never applies here.
- Hybrid inverter and battery retrofits are the dominant solar service load.
- Commercial refrigeration work runs under SANS 10147 and OHS Act duties.
Who issues what in South Africa
Job adverts blur three separate things issued by three separate bodies. The Academy is not one of them.
PV GreenCard
Issued through a SAPVIA-endorsed assessment against a completed installation and its checklist evidence.
We train the method and evidence habits that checklist expects. We do not assess or issue the GreenCard.
SAQCC Gas registration (refrigeration)
Registration is granted by SAQCC Gas against the recognised training and assessment route.
We build diagnostic and safe-handling judgment. We are not an accredited assessment centre and issue no registration.
Electrical Certificate of Compliance (CoC)
Issued only by a registered person under the OHS Act, to SANS 10142-1.
We train the records a CoC rests on. We never issue a CoC.
EcoPowerHub Academy issues its own certificate of completion only. That certificate is not a licence, not a statutory registration, and not lifetime access. Official exam and registration fees are paid to the issuing body, never to us.
