Certification pathway

A certificate you can actually fail to earn

The value of a training credential is entirely in what it refuses to award. This pathway marks decisions against a standard, gates on safety, and ends in a capstone that behaves like a real commissioning day.

  1. 1

    Enrol and set your baseline

You get the full sixteen-module track immediately. There is no cohort start date and no drip schedule — the sequence is designed to be worked in order, but the pace is yours.

  2. 2

    Work the graded labs

Every module ends in work that is marked: sequence, diagnosis, safety or checklist. Each submission returns the evidence that mattered, the trap that could have misled you, and the sharper path.

  3. 3

    Clear the safety standard

Safety labs are pass or fail. You cannot accumulate enough points elsewhere to pass a lab where you made an unsafe selection.

  4. 4

    Pass the four-stage capstone

One continuous 10.2 kW hybrid scenario with forced gates — safety, then diagnosis, then checklist, then sequence. A failure at any gate resets that stage.

  5. 5

    Receive the certificate

An EcoPowerHub Academy Certificate of Completion for the Solar Service Technician track, issued on your account and shareable with an employer. It is a training record, not a licence or a regulatory credential.

Scope of the credential. This certificate is a training credential issued by EcoPowerHub Academy. It is not a professional license, electrical certification, or authorization to work on live electrical systems.

Enrol once and work the sequence at your own pace. The standard does not move.

Questions

Certification FAQ

Is this a licence?
This certificate is a training credential issued by EcoPowerHub Academy. It is not a professional license, electrical certification, or authorization to work on live electrical systems.
Can I fail?
Yes. Safety labs are pass or fail, and a safety failure inside the capstone resets that stage. Strong scores elsewhere do not compensate for an unsafe selection.
How long does certification take?
Most technicians working a few evenings a week finish inside six to ten weeks. There is no deadline and no expiry on access.
Can an employer verify it?
The certificate is issued on your account with the track, completion date and capstone result, so an employer can be shown the record directly.
