What is different
- Equipment
- Solar works arrays, inverters, storage and interconnection. HVAC works refrigeration circuits, airflow, gas heat and controls.
- Authorities
- Solar maps to NABCEP, EPRA, PV GreenCard and similar schemes. HVAC maps to EPA 608, NATE, SAQCC Gas, NITA and ESSCI — as practice, never issuance.
- Field context
- Solar calls are roof and electrical-room work; HVAC calls are mechanical rooms, rooftops and cold chain. The diagnostic method transfers; the hazards do not.
